Dakine Tyrant Footstrap OS - wide footstrap with extra support

Dakine Tyrant Footstrap OS takes the standard footstrap design and makes it wider for more coverage and a more secure connection with the board. It is made for riders who feel that a regular strap is too narrow, does not support the foot properly or feels less stable during stronger riding.

The Tyrant is especially useful for larger feet, neoprene boots or setups where you want more contact between your foot and the strap. It is also a popular rear strap option on boards running only three footstraps, where a wider and more forgiving fit can make foot placement easier.

Comfortable fit without excessive compression

The stretchy neoprene cover allows the strap to be larger without squeezing the foot. 7 mm neoprene padding improves comfort during longer sessions and gives a softer contact point when riding powered, carving or landing.

A pre-formed arch helps prevent the strap from collapsing, so it is easier to slide your foot in after a start, transition or waterstart.

Adjustment and board compatibility

The internal adjustment system lets you fine-tune the fit to your foot size, neoprene boots and preferred level of hold. Dakine Tyrant Footstrap OS uses a production board hole pattern, making it compatible with standard footstrap mounting layouts used on many boards.
