Half hook for better board control

Dakine Cobra Half Hook OS is an alternative to a classic footstrap, made for riders who want more board control without having the foot fully enclosed. The hook helps keep your foot in a repeatable position, supports board lift during starts and gives you an extra point of contact while riding, turning or pumping.

It works well for wing foil, windsurf foil, surf foil and other boards where quick connection with the board and easy foot release are important.

Ergonomic shape and soft padding

The Cobra Half Hook OS has an ergonomic foot-holding shape that supports the foot from above without creating the locked-in feel of a full strap. Upturned edges improve comfort and help reduce pressure points during the session.

Inside, the hook uses 10 mm foam padding and 4 mm neoprene, giving the contact area a softer feel even during longer time on the water.

Strong HDPE construction

The main hook body is made from injection-moulded HDPE — High Density Polyethylene. This material is strong, resistant to deformation and well suited to parts mounted directly on boards used in water sports.

An oversized stainless steel washer helps spread the mounting load more evenly and improves the stability of the connection.

One size fits most
