Aqua Marina Rapid 9'6 is made with double-layer Drop-Stitch Technology with extra stiffened side panels and reinforcements inside the structure. This allowed to achieve high stiffness and strength of the board, extremely important during river rafting. A displacement of 300 litres is great for improving stability. Combined with a wide deck and Arch Edge™ construction (raised edges), it prevents slipping during more difficult manoeuvres. The EVA foam deck with a specially embossed diamond pattern provides excellent foot grip.
Thanks to its curved rocker line, the Rapid offers very good control of the board at high speeds and the integrated kick pad improves control in tight turns and waves. 5 durable neoprene grips make it easy to carry the board especially in shallow sections. A practical elastic bungee cord on the bow of the board allows you to carry the luggage you need for a river trip.
The Rapid has 4 integrated side fins and a removable Slide-in River fin, which improve manoeuvrability in meandering waters. The small, short fixed fins are strong and flexible enough (made of rubber) to successfully guide you through sections where rocks appear.
