Tabou was founded in 1991 in France by Fabien Vollenweider. He is famous for manufacturing incredible performance windsurfing boards. Fabien has been shaping for over 20 years, introducing many innovative hulls over the years like 3style allround board in early ‘00 and first newschool freestyle boards. Fabien lives for windsurfing and is extremely passionate about creating cutting edge designs that impress windsurfers. He works closely with top international team riders: Thomas Traversa known for riding biggest waves in most radical style, Cedric Bordes and Ross Williams - top racers; Anthony Ruenes and Davy Scheffers - young freestyle guns. Fabien is known for making one of the best boards on the planet: performance, ease of use, broad range of boards for any conditions you can find.

Tabou wave line consist of Pocket, Da Curve and Da Bomb - a new shape created specifically for euro-wave conditions. There is a classic 3S all-round shape and newschool freestyle board - Twister. All-times bestseller and best performing board in freeride segment is obviously The Rocket. A race-winning slalom machine is called Manta and an easier slalom board - Speedster.
