PLKB 2025 Collection – Kites and Gear for Kitesurfing, Snowkiting, and Landkiting!

Since we have launched preorders for 2025, and we are excited to present the entire collection from PLKB (Peter Lynn Kiteboarding). Kitesurfing (water)

For water-based kiteboarding, PLKB offers four models:

• Gambit V2 – An excellent all-around kite that guarantees fun for riders of all skill levels. The new profile enhances performance, stability, and hangtime. Rounded tips allow for easy water relaunch, and its light three-strut frame surprises with responsiveness and great low-end wind range.

• Hook V4 – This kite not only provides significant power but also offers exceptional comfort, with a broad wind range. PLKB's designers focused on a substantial depower, greater flight speed, and outstanding stability in strong wind conditions, making it ideal for skill progression. Every pull on the bar delivers a powerful boost, letting you soar high.

• Nova V2 – This kite is designed for hydrofoil lovers, now in an improved version. It ensures optimal speed and maneuverability even in lighter winds. The Nova V2 is extremely versatile, as easy to handle as an LEI (Leading Edge Inflatable) kite, while offering all the benefits of a foil kite. If you want to be the first on the water and the last off, the Nova V2 is your go-to choice.

• Skim TR – A 3-line training kite for water, perfect for those taking their first steps in kitesurfing. It’s controlled with a bar, stable, easy to manage in various wind conditions, and simple to relaunch from the water. Designed for all ages, it comes ready to fly with a bar and Dyneema® lines, and includes a handy backpack.

In the board category, PLKB offers three models tailored to different conditions and skill levels:

• Patrol V3 – A freeride board that offers excellent upwind abilities. As a progressive board, it helps kitesurfers from their first water starts to their first jumps and tricks. A great all-rounder for a comfortable, relaxing session on the water!

• Shepherd – The ultimate choice for those seeking maximum comfort. It absorbs chop impact beautifully, reducing fatigue, enhancing edge grip, and allowing for faster speeds and higher jumps.

• Capital V3 – A carbon fiber board designed for fast riding and high performance in freestyle maneuvers. Ideal for those wanting to progress quickly and jump high. Whether performing pop, air transitions, handle passes, or even heart attacks, Capital will be your trusty companion. The redesigned Capital V3 has a new construction with thinner edges, narrower tips, a bottom concave, and a grab channel on top, all while being lighter.

 

For kitesurfing bars, PLKB offers the following options:

• Compass – Featuring a brand-new Quick Release system with an easy click recovery function. It includes many innovations such as ceramic ball bearings, pre-stretched SK75 lines, and a 3D grip. The Compass Bar is available in two versions: LEI (for inflatable kites) and FOIL (for foil kites):

  • LEI – Equipped with 22-meter lines, it can be upgraded with a fifth line and a brake line for use with the Lynx and Raw kites.

  • FOIL – Equipped with 18-meter lines and already includes a brake line.

• Commander V2 – A very user-friendly, safe bar with standard parts and low maintenance. It comes with Quick Release and easy reassembly. Available in a 52 cm size with a 4-line safety system, the Commander Bar is suitable for all water kites, delivered with either 15-meter lines for schools or 22-meter lines for freeride.

Snowkiting
 

PLKB’s 2025 collection also includes models for snowkite enthusiasts:

• Lynx V5 – Designed to be a reliable companion for freeride snowkiting adventures. Equipped with a fifth line for safe landings and release in difficult situations. Pulling the fifth line ensures the kite lands immediately with 100% power loss.

• Ibex & Ibex Ultralight – A 5-line power kite designed for both land and snowkiting, featuring a super rigid, open-cell design with depower. It offers unparalleled safety and performance with the "Stop 'n Go" landing system, ensuring responsiveness, smoothness, and precision.

For snowkite bars, PLKB offers the Compass FOIL, Compass SNOW (equipped with a brake line), and Commander V2 SNOW (also with a brake line).

Landkiting
 

PLKB 2025 also caters to land-based kite sports fans. The following kites offer stable power, optimal control, and safety even in variable winds:

• Hype – A 2-line kite for the whole family. Durable and easy to control (equipped with 2 comfortable handles) – ideal for learning the basics of powerkiting. It generates very little pull, making it safe and fun for both adults and children. Comes as a complete set, ready to fly. Available in two versions: Play, controlled with straps, and TR, controlled with a bar.

• Impulse TR – A 3-line training kite controlled with a bar – a great choice if you want to start your powerkiting adventure or just have fun. It responds precisely to your commands, making it easy to learn how to control. The Impulse TR flies effortlessly even in light winds, so beginners will have no trouble using it. It also features a safety system that allows the kite to lose all power within a second.

• Hornet – A bestselling 4-line powerkite for beginners and intermediates. Its versatility allows for amazing sessions in kite buggying, landboarding, and even snowkiting! Delivered as a complete set, ready to fly with either handles or a bar.

• Twister – A 4-line kite, available with either a bar or handles, designed for jumping. Suitable for experienced users looking for a fast, powerful kite offering maximum performance and full control. It provides smooth power delivery and a large lift. Comes ready to fly with a bar and durable Dyneema® lines.

• Uniq TR – A super-durable 2-line powerkite controlled by a bar. Thanks to its Single Skin design, it is virtually indestructible and perfect for intensive use. Its ease of control makes it ideal even for beginners. Thanks to its lightweight design, it also performs well in light wind conditions.

Kites for landkiting and powerkiting also require proper control systems. Although each of the models mentioned comes with a bar or handles, there are times when you might want to change or upgrade your setup. Below is a brief overview of the land kite control systems:

• Control Bar – Specifically designed for 2-line kites and equipped with an EVA foam handle, ensuring excellent comfort and grip during sessions. To keep the lines organized and tangle-free, the Control Bar includes convenient line winders. When the kite is not in use, you can simply wind the lines on the winders for easy storage and transport. The Control Bar is available with Kite Killer or without it (a system that depowers the kite).

• Powerkite V2 – A 4-line bar for all powerkites like the Hornet or Twister. It allows for more precise control and better kite response. Ronstan pulleys allow the power lines to move with the steering lines, providing a balance between fast steering and forward flight. The power lines are adjustable so the kite can be finely tuned. The brake line, attached to the steering lines, makes self-landing easier and acts as a safety measure.

• Cross Over Control Bar – Designed specifically for 4-line foil kites, offering advanced features to enhance the kiteboarding experience. One of the bar's features is the adjustable kite angle during flight by pulling or releasing the bar. This allows you to control the kite's power by adjusting its angle, giving you greater control and the ability to optimize performance based on your preferences and conditions.

• 3-line Control Impulse Bar – Made for use with the Impulse TR training kite. It is tailored to the kite’s characteristics, ensuring optimal performance and ease of use during training sessions. The control bar design includes a third line that connects the leading edge of the kite to a wrist strap. This setup maximizes safety and stability, making it easier to relaunch the powerkite if necessary.
