Our trade-in program allows you to exchange your used gear for a discount voucher. This voucher can be used to reduce the cost of your next purchase within the same product category, helping you get the latest technology and performance-enhancing gear without stretching your budget. Eligible Trade-In Equipment by Sport

• Kitesurfing: Kites, kite boards
• Windsurfing: Sails, windsurf boards, masts, booms (high-end models only)
• Wing Foiling: Wings (wing sails), wing boards, foils (case-by-case basis)

What We Decline

We reserve the right to decline gear that:

• Is older than 3 years.
• Has major structural damage such as deep cracks, broken seams, or delamination.
• Has excessive wear and tear beyond normal use.
• Is heavily repaired, especially with poor-quality fixes that may affect performance or safety.
• Shows significant discoloration, UV damage, or material fatigue.
• Is missing essential components (e.g., missing fins for boards, no battens in sails, missing screws with foils).
• Any inflatable boards (these are not accepted).
• Low-end or outdated entry-level models that have little to no resale or reuse value.

What We Check

Before accepting a trade-in, we will inspect:

• General condition – Ensuring there are no significant damages, deep scratches, or broken parts.
• Functionality – Making sure the equipment still performs as intended.
• Previous repairs – Checking for quality fixes and whether they impact performance.
• Wear & tear – Assessing the overall durability and wear of fabrics, stitching, and structural integrity.
• Completeness – Making sure all necessary parts are included and functional.

How It Works

1. Submit Your Trade-In Request

• Fill in our online trade-in form with details about your gear: model, year, condition.
• Attach clear photos showcasing the item’s current state.

⚠️ Important Notice

To ensure a smooth and fair trade-in process, we strongly encourage customers to accurately describe the condition of their gear and provide clear, well-lit photos from multiple angles, and including all parts of the gear. This helps us assess its value properly and avoid potential discrepancies.

2. Evaluation & Approval

• Our team will assess your gear and determine its trade-in value within 2 working days.
• We will either accept your trade and provide a voucher quote or decline the trade if the item does not meet our criteria.

3. Shipping or Drop-Off

• If accepted, you can ship the item to us at your own risk and cost.
• You can also bring the item directly to our store.

4. Final Inspection

• Once we receive the item, our team will perform a final check to confirm its condition.
• We reserve the right to:
  • Confirm the agreement and proceed with issuing the voucher.
  • Decline the trade if hidden issues are discovered.
  • Adjust the voucher value if the actual condition is worse than initially described in the form and photos.

⚠️ Important Notice

If the customer declines our final offer or if the trade is rejected due to hidden issues, they must arrange for the item to be picked up from our location. Please note that any shipping costs incurred for sending the item to us will not be refunded in either case.

5. Receive Your Voucher

• Once the trade-in is finalized, we will prepare and send your discount voucher.
• The voucher can only be redeemed for a new item within the same product category (e.g., a kite for a new kite, a sail for a new sail, etc.).
