Pakalolo Skimboards – a Polish skimboard brand rooted in Kiekrz

Pakalolo Skimboards is a Polish brand that has been producing wooden flatland skimboards since 2007. It all started in Kiekrz, near Poznań, where the first hand-shaped boards were crafted for a growing local community of board sport enthusiasts. Over the years, Pakalolo has become one of the most recognized names in Polish skimboarding, known for its reliable construction, clean design, and consistent quality.

From lakeside beginnings to a respected brand

Inspired by skateboarding, wakeboarding, and surfing, the brand emerged at a time when flatland skimboarding was only beginning to gain traction in Poland. The shallow waters of the Hel Peninsula provided the perfect setting for experimentation and progression, and Pakalolo played a key role in making the sport more accessible to riders across the country.

To this day, Pakalolo remains connected to its local roots, continuing to design and manufacture boards in the region of Poznań.

Build and materials

Pakalolo boards are constructed from laminated birch and alder wood, offering a solid balance between flex and durability. The top layer features a transparent anti-slip grip, eliminating the need for wax while improving control and board feel.

All boards follow a TwinTip, TwinRocker shape, allowing smooth riding and tricks in both directions. This geometry is particularly well suited for flatland freestyle and trick-oriented sessions.

Available models

The current lineup includes boards in two size categories – S/M for lighter users and L/XL for adults or riders over 60–65 kg. All boards share the same technical specs but differ in design and graphics.

Each board features a distinct graphic design, often created in collaboration with artists from Poznań.

Who is it for?

Pakalolo boards are a great choice for beginners who want a stable board for their first rides, as well as for intermediate and advanced riders looking to progress their tricks. Thanks to their durable construction, locally sourced materials, and rider-friendly shape, they’ve become a go-to option for flatland skimboarders in Poland and beyond.

Pakalolo Skimboards represents a local approach to board building – blending craftsmanship with simplicity, and regional identity with European reach.
