360FLY – The new face of action cam
New player has appeared recently on the sports camera market and it’s gaining new fans very quickly. Especially those who know the bitter taste, when they want to catch some action with the camera and later they discover it is not recorded. New 360FLY solve this problem almost completely. Why almost? The producers decided to create a device that is able to record everything around. And they did. Because it can record 360⁰ horizontally and 240⁰ vertically, the shooter doesn’t have to focus on the proper framing. Just place it and push the record button. Just ‘fire and forget’
So what do you get when you buy 360FLY? A tennis-ball size 360FLY camera, USB cable, leash, 2 adhesive mounts, one screw (pivot) mount, sheath with zipper for camera and the magnetic plate for charging your camera.
Producer claim that you can record about 2 hour Full HD footage in 29.97fps and lithium-polymer battery needs 2,5 hour to be fully charged and it lasts about the same. 360FLY looks solid and producer claims, that it’s 8th elements sapphire-glass lens can take a lot before it breaks. But we didn’t give it a crash test and we don’t recommend you to do one. These days sport cameras can be used at almost any altitude and any conditions, so can 360FLY. It can also handle 5ATM pressure and stay operative between -20⁰C to +40⁰C. Which is pretty much everywhere a common mortal can go. 360FLY is very simple to use. It has one button for turning it ON and OFF and the same button for Record and Stop. You can apply other settings via mobile application that you can download from producer’s website. So what is the difference? 360FLY or any other sport camera? Well, with 360FLY the framing problem is no more, so you can focus in post what do you want to place in you clip. And that is a huge advantage. Using mobile application on your smart-phone or tablet you can swipe the image, cut it, adjust it and share on you Facebook, YouTube or VIMEO right away. You don’t need to use computer and any other software. I am convinced that 360FLY will be gaining more and more fans in the future. Thanks to the technology that is used in this device users can save time and energy. Compact, futuristic design, good quality image and versatile. Competition won’t leave it without an answer. I hope they won’t. Price for new 360FLY is 539€ (easy-surfshop.com)
