EASY-surfshop started 25 years ago
Our first name was “EASY-windsurfing” — anyone still remember the days before SUP, kitesurfing and foiling?
This year EASY-surfshop turns 25, and I turn 50. Half my life…
Rather than hold two separate celebrations, I thought we’d do one together. Something that captures what EASY has been about all these years. So on 19 September, let’s meet by the water — where it all began — in Kiekrz near Poznań.
Over these 25 years, thousands of people have passed through EASY. Customers buying their first board, riders, instructors, partners, suppliers, staff, friends. Many of you met each other right here — at races, on trips, at clinics, or simply chatting in the shop.
This day is for you.
It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been sailing for thirty years or you’re only just thinking about your first SUP. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been with EASY from the start or you’ve only just found us. If you like water, good company and people with wind in their hair — we want to see you there.

What’s happening
The site will be busy all day long. Most of it runs continuously, so you can take the day at your own pace — flat out or completely relaxed.
EASY Wing Cup Amateur wing foil racing in the regular class, in a friendly format. If the weather won’t allow us to finish on Saturday, we’ll wrap it up on Sunday 20 September.
EASY Windsurfing Retro Race & Show Racing on gear from before 2001, plus an exhibition of old boards and sails.
Wing foil clinics Sessions with the Mysza Surf crew for anyone who wants to sharpen their technique and work out what they’re doing wrong.
Wing foil demo lessons Your first go on the gear, with Mysza Surf instructors. Places are limited, so registration applies.
SUP clinics — from zero to hero The basics, paddling technique and balance on the board. No experience needed.
Meet Maciek Rutkowski Windsurfing World Champion and EASY-surfshop rider will be with us all day — on the water and talking about the road to the top.
Wing foil gear tests The latest boards, wings and foils from NEILPRYDE, JP-AUSTRALIA, GAASTRA and TABOU, matched to your level and the day’s conditions.
SUP board tests The latest JP-AUSTRALIA collection for 2027, ready to try on the spot.
Sail rigging against the clock Open all day with a live leaderboard, best time announced in the evening. Prize: a sail.
SUP inflating against the clock A simple contest where everyone stands a chance — it’s just you and the stopwatch. Prize: a SUP paddle.
EASY 25/50 Challenge A quiz about EASY, Bartek and our sports. A WING to be won!
Kids’ activities A separate supervised zone, so parents can get out on the water in peace.
SUP Sunset A group paddle at sunset. No racing, no rush — the calmest part of the whole day.
And in the evening…
Once the wind drops and the sun starts going down… we’ll wrap up the sporting side of the day, hand out the prizes, and during the EASY Hall of Fame look back at the people and moments that shaped EASY over the past 25 years — and then let’s dance together until dawn!
There’ll be cake, a bonfire, music, and above all time to talk properly with people you might not have seen for years.
Because EASY SURF is more than just a shop 😊.

Registration
You don’t need to register for the event itself — entry is free and you can turn up whenever you like. Registration will only apply where places are limited, for example the wing foil demo lessons.

Frequently asked questions
How much does entry cost? Nothing. The event is open and free for everyone.
Do I need to know how to sail? No. Plenty of people will come simply to be by the water, catch up with friends and sit by the fire. If you do want to try — there are clinics and tests for complete beginners.
Can I bring my kids? Yes. There’s a supervised kids’ zone running all day.
What should I bring? A wetsuit and safety gear if you’re planning to get on the water. Something warm for the evening.
What if it rains or there’s no wind? The event goes ahead whatever the weather. If conditions won’t allow the wing foil racing, we’ll finish it on Sunday 20 September.
Can I come just for the evening? Of course. The evening starts once the sporting part of the day wraps up and runs until late.
