The 2016 Sick Bar combines simplicity, durability, comfort and foremost – safety. With that being the priority, bar flags out on a single front line. That grants 100% collapse of the kite no matter what the situation when safety is triggered. The Slick Click push away safety system can be easily activated with low force in all conditions. You can also re-load the quick release very easily and fast. It conforms to the French safety norm AFNOR NF S52-503 which makes it really reliable.

You can use the Sick Bar in two modes – standard and suicide. Standard move grants 100% safety in every situation, this mode is strongly recommended. Suicide option should only be used by advanced, experienced riders, because it doesn`t fully depower the kite when losing the bar. Premium leather grip gives comfort and long durability. Swivel is integrated under bar, so you can easily and comfortable untwist frontlines after kiteloop or a rotational jump. Safety line and centre line are covered in PU tube, which allows smooth handling and sheeting as well as it protect the lines from wearing. Bar itself has full carbon construction, that makes it extremely strong, durable and light. Bar comes with high quality Liros® Dyneema flying lines made in Germany. They`ve been pre-stretched with heavy load so they lines won`t further elongate. Lines are 24 meters ling with 3 or 6 meters extension option.

With safety being the top priority, the bar ends are soft, flexible and with integrated floaters. The soft nature of the bar ends prevents hand injuries when catching the bar during unhooked tricks. Soft bar ends and also lower the risk of injury when the bar comes in contact with the rider during a crash. Riders will also appreciate the soft bar ends when relaunching the kite.

SIMPLE AND CLEAN

A brand new depower Smart Cleat, originally designed by CrazyFly, and strategically positioned above the bar. It is comfortable to reach and very easy to use, even on the go. This year, we also added a Velcro on the Smart Cleat, so there are no lines flapping around and everything is tidy in place.
