MANERA Magma hood

The MAGMA hood features a double flap: One stays outside the wetsuit collar while the other one comes inside. It creates a double barrier against water flushing and it makes sure the hood stays in place. The producer have used Reflex-skin jersey to line the areas where we need mobility: Neck, face, chin. Head and ears are built in Glide-skin neoprene which is waterproof and windproof to fight the wind-chill effect. The inside is lined with MAGMA fleece for an unbeatable warmth and fast-drying. It’s the weapon of choice if you want to spend the winter without brain-freeze while still having a good mobility.

Its plush loops work as effective insulators and heat generators while providing a smooth and soft feeling that makes the suit incredibly comfortable. It also dries extremely fast.
• DESIGNED IN 3D - When the industry standard is to develop 2D patterns and try to fit it on a 3D body, Manera decided to break new ground and take the opposite direction. The procuder use computer design to model good-fitted hood in 3D, then employ an innovative software that converts it into a precise 2D pattern for the factory. It creates a natural, second-skin fit that makes the MANERA hood stand out.
