Due to the extremely sophisticated manufacturing process, only a very limited number of AERO 3.0 booms are available (on a first come, first served basis). Thanks to the highest quality material mix and unique production methods, it is astonishingly lightweight, weighing just 1.65 kg. Despite its slimmed-down design, the PLATINUM AERO 3.0 boasts sensational stiffness, ultra-direct feel and range-specific features and deflection curves that make it a must-have item for high-performance riders. Although the boom is only available in two different lengths, they all have the performance and equipment features of the PLATINUM SLS boom. Be warned, however: high-end technology comes at a price, so don't be surprised. In combination with the Duotone sails, the use of the new VTS TAIL attachment offers for the first time a perfect tension match after the boom.
The boom is equipped with an Inside 100% - Gripped tail with VTS Tail Fitting- a classic nok, which allows fast rigging and is ideal for wave, freestyle and freeride sails.
