About the authors

The project was created by the original Tricktionary team led by Michael Rossmeier, with main authors Julian Hosp and Thomas Burblies. The content is based on the knowledge and experience of professional kiteboarders from different countries and riding styles. Each trick was performed with perfect technique by top riders such as Youri Zoon, Kevin Langeree and Victoria Soloveykina, allowing for detailed analysis and a clear presentation of every movement.

Why it’s worth it

Tricktionary organizes knowledge that would normally need to be gathered from many different sources – videos, tutorials and forums. Everything is collected in one place, arranged logically and explained in clear, accessible language. The book does not replace lessons with a certified instructor, but it is an excellent complement to training: it helps prepare for your first lessons and supports long-term progression afterward – from the first jumps, through grabs and rotations, all the way to handlepasses and kiteloops.
