The Loftsails Raceboardblade 9.5 Medium Wind set has been designed for competitive racing in the Raceboard class in moderate wind conditions. This configuration is aimed at racers and ambitious riders who expect high performance, a wide trim range, and strong tactical flexibility on the race course.
Loftsails Raceboardblade 9.5 Medium Wind sail
The Raceboardblade 9.5 MW is the core model within the Raceboardblade range, developed in close cooperation with top-level raceboard riders such as Joao Rodrigues, Patrik Pollak, and Curro Manchon, under the guidance of Monty Spindler. Continuous development driven by direct collaboration between riders and designers translates into proven on-water performance.
The sail features a 6-batten construction with 3 camber inducers and is positioned between the ULW (Ultra Light Wind) and HW (High Wind) versions. This configuration delivers excellent profile control, high trim sensitivity, and the versatility required for changing wind conditions. The Raceboardblade 9.5 MW offers stable sail behavior and fast response, which is essential during dynamic maneuvers and close racing situations.
Loftsails Team Edition III 100C mast
The set is equipped with a Loftsails Team Edition III mast, 530 cm in length and made from 100% carbon. It is the lightest and most dynamic mast in the Loftsails range, designed to deliver maximum performance with minimal weight. The use of T700 and T800 carbon fibers combined with pre-preg construction ensures high strength, increased impact resistance, and an exceptionally fast response.
The mast is precisely matched to the characteristics of the Raceboardblade 9.5 MW sail, maintaining a stable profile, effective damping, and consistent trim settings throughout racing conditions.
Unifiber Modular Carbon Elite boom
The setup is completed with the Unifiber Modular Carbon Elite Monocoque V2 – Outside Wide Tail carbon boom, manufactured from top-quality pre-preg carbon fiber. This boom is designed for large sails and targets professional riders as well as ambitious amateurs seeking maximum stiffness at the lowest possible weight.
The boom features a pulley-equipped tail that allows smooth and efficient outhaul adjustment under load. The Elite modular boom head ensures a stiff, direct connection and is compatible with both SDM and RDM masts.
