A windsurf sail built for learning and school use
XO Sails Swing V2 was developed for windsurf schools, watersports centres and any setup where easy handling, durability and straightforward learning matter most. This is a sail designed to help beginners get familiar with the basics quickly, without adding unnecessary complexity or an overly nervous feel.
Deep profile and clear sail feedback
Swing V2 uses a deep, forgiving profile that gives beginners clear feedback about when the sail is generating power and when it is depowering. This makes it easier to understand balance, wind direction and the fundamentals of sail control. That kind of behaviour helps build good habits from the start and gives new riders a more intuitive feel for how the rig works on the water.
Durable construction for frequent use
The sail is built from Dacron and fitted with a strong PVC window. This construction handles frequent use and the everyday wear typical of schools and rental centres very well. Areas that are most exposed to contact with the board or the ground are also reinforced, which helps reduce wear during regular use.
Easier manoeuvring on larger boards
The diagonally cut foot allows the rig to move more freely over the board. In practice, this makes steering and manoeuvring easier, especially on larger beginner boards. It is a useful feature for riders who are still learning basic turns and overall board control.
Simple handling and quick rigging
Swing V2 does not require heavy downhaul tension, so rigging is simpler and faster. That is a real advantage in school conditions, where several rigs often need to be prepared quickly and efficiently. Boom harness line markers also make setup easier, while the rotating boom head ensures a secure mast-to-boom connection at different boom heights.
Easy to identify on the water
Each size is colour-coded, making it easier to identify sails quickly on the water. This is especially practical for instructors and students during group lessons, when each sail needs to be matched easily to the right rider.
A lighter and simpler option for first sessions
Compared to the Experience TR rig, Swing V2 is lighter and simpler to use, which makes it especially suitable for lighter winds and the early stage of learning. Its classic shape places the centre of effort further back, giving clear and intuitive feedback, although it does require a bit more attention in stronger or gusty winds.
Compatible with the Unifiber x XOsails system
This model is part of the Unifiber x XOsails hardware system, making it easier to match compatible components and replace individual parts when needed. It is a practical solution for schools, clubs and centres that want a consistent setup and straightforward servicing.
