Character and intended use
GA-Wings Cross 2026 is an all-round wing for wingfoiling: freeride, learning, and jumping. It feels intuitive in the hands, delivers power in a predictable way, and gives stable support, so you can focus on foil control and body position instead of constantly correcting the wing.
2026 update: boom integration
For 2026 the Cross gets a straighter strut, designed to work seamlessly with the pistol grip carbon boom. The result is a more direct connection and more precise control when pumping, accelerating, turning, and during jumps. The boom comes in a 2-piece design for easier travel without the “soft” feel typical of some split systems.
Outline and upwind performance
A refreshed outline with a slightly straighter leading edge improves efficiency and upwind performance, while keeping the balanced, forgiving character the Cross is known for. It’s especially useful in side-shore conditions and when you need to work your way back upwind to your launch.
Materials and durability
The frame (leading edge and strut) uses ForceTec Dacron, while the canopy is built from VoltNova triple ripstop. The trailing edge is reinforced with VoltNova+ double ripstop to help hold its shape and reduce flutter in gusts and during frequent pumping. Kevlar reinforcements protect high-wear areas against abrasion.
Pressure tuning and visibility
The leading edge and strut are separate air cells (two SUP valves), so you can tune inflation pressure to match conditions and your preferred stiffness. Two windows placed along both sides of the strut improve visibility on the water, especially when riding in traffic and during tacks and gybes.

- Balanced tension profile - Balanced tension between the leading edge and trailing edge helps stabilize the profile and makes the wing easier to handle
- Separate air cells - Two independent air cells (leading edge and strut) with separate SUP valves let you tune inflation pressure to match conditions and your preferred stiffness
- Kevlar abrasion protection - Kevlar patches protect seams on the leading edge and strut in high-wear areas, improving durability in demanding use
- 360 view windows - Two elongated windows on both sides of the strut improve all-around visibility, while the window material helps prevent creasing
