For 2025, the Vapor Air benefits from the introduction of a new radial panel layout, inspired by the development of our Membrane sails. The new layout eliminates unnecessary cross seams, allowing the entire panel to function as a unified structure. This innovation delivers improved direct feedback, enhanced top-end performance and a smoother, more connected feel.
The radial panel layout replaces the traditional combination of horizontal and vertical seams, reducing elongation along critical load lines. This design approach not only increases the structural integrity of the sail, but also ensures more efficient load distribution, giving you an edge on the racecourse with better responsiveness and stability.
Additionally, GA-Sails has refined the luff curve and increased the profile in the boom area for greater power and stability, particularly during high-intensity racing. The mid-leech release, a critical area for sail performance, has also been reworked to ensure smoother airflow and enhanced speed. Upgraded batten specifications ensure perfect compatibility with the sail’s new shape and maintain durability under extreme conditions.
The updated sizing structure includes a new largest sail size of 8.2, now compatible with a 490 mast, catering to riders seeking optimal performance in lighter wind conditions. The 4.3 and 5.3 are designed for RDM masts, with the 4.3 featuring a six batten, three camber construction.
Seize the opportunity to dominate the racecourse with a sail that combines cutting-edge technology and uncompromising excellence.

Features

- CONTINUOUS RADIAL PANEL LAYOUT - GA-Sails has revolutionized the panel layout by creating continuous panels that run radially from the sail’s center. By eliminating cross seams, which are common in traditional horizontal and vertical panel setups, the whole panel works as a unit with a better feedback to the loads
- REFINED LUFF CURVE - A refined luff curve and increased profile in the boom area enhances power and stability, particularly during high-intensity racing
- UPDATED MID-LEECH RELEASE - Reworked release in the mid-leech area ensures smoother airflow and enhanced speed, contributing to a better sail performance
- UPGRADED BATTEN SPECIFICATION - Updated batten specs ensure perfect compatibility with the sail’s new shape and maintain durability under extreme conditions
- CROSS BATTEN CONCEPT - The cross batten provides perfect stability in the sail’s profile and ensures a fixed center of pressure
- CONTINUOUS LUFF PANELS - Continuous luff panels ensure strong and efficient load distribution
- HIGH TENSION PROFILE - High tension in the sail’s profile provides controllability and stability in extreme racing conditions
- MODIFIED VAPOR AIR QUIVER - A revised range of sail sizes includes the new 8.2, offering the ideal quiver for every condition and competition
