Who this foil is for
The EAGLE X was designed for intermediate to advanced riders looking for a fast downwind foil with excellent glide and a very broad speed range. It is aimed at riders using it for SUP downwind and wingfoiling, who want to maintain a high average speed, connect bumps efficiently, and feel more confident at higher pace. Compared to more classic downwind foils, the EAGLE X is more focused on speed and efficiency, yet thanks to its refined profile it remains more predictable and easier to control.
Glide, speed, and stronger forward drive
The second generation of the EAGLE X keeps the DNA of the original, but has been clearly refined for better glide, stronger forward projection, and greater overall efficiency. The new profile toward the wingtips reduces lift at the outer sections, which improves the foil’s balance and stability. In practice, this means better acceleration, stronger forward drive, and an easier time maintaining a high average speed without excessive effort. Every pumping movement is converted more efficiently into forward motion, which becomes especially noticeable on longer downwind runs.
TITAN 2 connection and a more direct feel
The new TITAN 2 connection improves stiffness, efficiency, and confidence at the junction between the mast and foil. The system uses two M8 screws and has been reinforced in this key structural area, allowing the whole setup to react faster and with greater precision. In practice, the rider gets a more direct feel underfoot, better pumping response, and a stronger overall connection to the foil in a wide range of conditions. The added stiffness also helps reduce drag and make better use of glide at higher speed.
Control and stability despite the very high aspect ratio
With an aspect ratio of 12, you would expect a highly specialized wing, yet the EAGLE X has been designed to keep a reassuring level of control and maneuverability. Most of the surface area remains concentrated closer to the center, which helps preserve steering control and more natural turn behavior. The new profile and more neutral wingtips improve control, making the foil smoother, more predictable, and less nervous through carving turns. This gives riders more confidence in steeper bumps and in situations that might previously have felt too demanding.
Wide speed range and easier flight retention
One of the major strengths of the EAGLE X is its very wide working range. The foil can go very fast, yet still keeps a strong low end and allows comfortable take-offs and sustained flight even when conditions soften for a moment. This makes it easier to hold a high average speed without feeling like the foil only works in one narrow performance window. It is a model that can be fast when you want it to be, but also smoother and calmer when the conditions ask for it.
Refined construction focused on performance
The EAGLE X uses an optimized carbon construction designed to deliver the right balance between weight, stiffness, and precise handling. It incorporates Ultra High Modulus fiber, which is even stiffer than High Modulus and standard carbon. That matters because the EAGLE X profile is exceptionally thin, so it needs a very rigid material to maintain full control and proper response at higher speed. The construction is completed with Pre-Preg technology and Monobloc Front Wing design, which improve strength, reduce unwanted micro-movements, and create a very direct transfer of rider input to the foil.
On-water character and intended use
The EAGLE X feels most at home in conditions where speed, glide, and efficient use of ocean energy matter over longer runs. Compared to the standard EAGLE, it is better suited to faster and rounder bumps, typically found in lighter wind and longer-period swell. It is a foil for riders who want to go faster, farther, and more smoothly, without giving up control in turns or when the rhythm of the water changes.
Sizes and use
The EAGLE X is available in 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, and 1000 cm². The smaller sizes will suit lighter riders, stronger conditions, and more performance-oriented riding with a stronger focus on speed. The larger sizes provide more lift, easier take-offs, and more comfort in lighter conditions or for heavier riders. This size range makes it easier to match the foil to rider level, conditions, and chosen discipline.
