What the QUEST is made for
The F-ONE QUEST was created for sessions when you want to head farther offshore, connect the energy of the swell and keep moving with it. This parawing is not focused on maximum speed or the most aggressive upwind performance. Its priority is comfort, control and easy handling when riding with the swell and in open-water conditions.
It is a piece of gear that makes pocket winging more accessible, even for riders without much experience. The QUEST feels intuitive, offers a large depower range and stays predictable even when the conditions become more demanding.
Comfort and control on the water
One of the strongest points of this model is its calm, stable character. The QUEST feels balanced in the hands, delivers power smoothly and does not require constant nervous corrections. The softer canopy, shorter lines and refined panel layout make this parawing feel light, smooth through turns and comfortable during longer runs.
Its large depower range makes it easier to stay in control during stronger gusts and lets you calm the wing down quickly when full power is no longer needed. That is especially important when riding with the swell, where smooth transitions between powered riding and gliding with the energy of the water really matter.
Easier learning and intuitive handling
The QUEST was designed to make the first sessions with a parawing easier. Beginners will appreciate the clearer back-hand feedback when sheeting in, as well as the easy depower that simplifies the learning process. More experienced riders, in turn, get a very solid balance of light feel, control and a useful high-end range.
This is a forgiving model, but it never feels dull or clumsy. Thanks to its natural balance, it works with the rider rather than against them, letting you focus on choosing your line and reading the water.
Easy packing and quick redeployment
In pocket winging, it matters a lot how quickly and comfortably you can put the wing away. The QUEST has been refined with exactly that in mind. The softer canopy, shorter lines and simplified architecture reduce the packed volume and make it easier to store the wing in a belt or dedicated carrying system.
The Pack Assist system also plays a major role here. It helps reduce bridle tension quickly during packing and makes it easier to bring the wing into a neutral position. The whole process is simpler, faster and more predictable, which you will especially appreciate after a longer run, when quick packing and easy transition back into riding make a real difference.
Double Dynamic Bridle System
One of the key innovations in the QUEST is the Double Dynamic Bridle System. It was designed to provide very precise feedback through the bar, intuitive power management and a lower risk of line tangles. The number of connection points has been reduced, and the bridles are attached only at the ends of the bar, without a central B line.
This gives you more freedom in hand placement, simplifies handling and keeps the whole control zone cleaner. The system acts on both front and back lines at the same time, optimizing the shape and balance of the parawing both when sheeting in and when sheeting out. For the rider, this means more natural control without the need for extra adjustments.
New vertical bar
The QUEST uses a new vertical carbon bar with a more ergonomic shape. This improves grip, makes the wing easier to handle and increases the maximum depower range. In practice, it becomes easier to sheet out in one movement without overloading the wrist.
This is especially useful in stronger wind, where quick and intuitive depower makes a real difference in control. The bar also features EVA grip and protective bumpers on the edges, improving comfort and helping protect both the rider and the gear.
Canopy control and overall behavior
Like the FRIGATE, the QUEST is equipped with D-ribs that improve canopy tension control. This solution helps reduce the number of bridles, improves glide, increases rigidity and expands the usable wind range.
The whole design has been tuned for comfortable downwind riding. The QUEST is not chasing maximum upwind performance. Instead, it focuses on control, calm handling and easier use of the conditions. It is a parawing for riders who simply want to head out and keep going where the swell takes them.
