The most maneuverable Flow Air SLS size
Duotone Flow Air SLS 9'8 is an inflatable SUP board for riders who want a light, compact and easy-handling model for recreational paddling. The 9'8 size is best suited to lighter riders, younger users and paddlers who value maneuverability more than maximum speed maintenance over longer distances.
The board is 294.6 cm long, 81.3 cm wide, has 213 l of volume and weighs around 6.60 kg. Duotone recommends this size for users up to 80 kg. It is a good choice for calm lakes, shorter routes, shoreline paddling, first SUP sessions and small-wave fun.
Malibu longboard-inspired surf/all-around shape
Flow Air SLS is based on a classic Malibu longboard-inspired shape. The rounded nose, stable outline and all-around character help riders find balance quickly, while the shorter length makes turning easier. The board does not require a lot of strength or advanced technique to feel controlled on the water.
It is designed for beginners and recreational riders who want a classic SUP feel, but in a lighter and more compact inflatable format.
SLS - lightweight and stiff construction
SLS - Strong, Light, Superior - uses woven drop-stitch material and machine-welded rails. This construction improves stiffness, reduces weight and allows the board to roll into a smaller package. Duotone states that SLS boards are 20% lighter and 40% more compact to roll compared with standard constructions.
In practice, this means easier carrying, simpler storage in an apartment or car, and more convenient transport for holidays. The 9'8 version is the easiest Flow Air SLS size to carry and pack.
Board-only version, not a full SUP package
This is not a complete SUP package with paddle, pump and leash. The board comes with an iSUP Wave 23 fin, Gearbag Pocket backpack and repair kit. Pump, leash and paddle need to be purchased separately.
The US Split Box with iSUP Wave 23 fin supports maneuverability and directional control. The deck features 4 D-rings for optional kayak seat attachment, a Tow + Action Cam combo-mount and the Lashing + Shoulder combo-strap, which secures the rolled board and can also be used as a shoulder strap.
