Speedwing X1 shines in stronger winds, but performs well in a wide wind range. This is due to the unique design without a vertical bar, which allows the sail to flex optimally at almost any wind speed.

A key feature of the construction is the 'cut-out' in the front of the kite's nose and the use of a solid, flexible joint that has improved the Speedwing's flight characteristics. This solution makes the kite faster, pulls harder and produces less noise than other kites with rigid construction.
