The winning slalom machine - thats how windsurfing magazines call the Loft Racing Blade. Both Planchemag and WIND magazines rated it with top scores after testing a bunch of full-on slalom sails in 2015. The 2016 model is even better. Loft has made it greatly easier to use due to the new seam shapes and a „tuned exhaust” result. The new Racing Blade provides better low end, faster middle wind-range speed  and higher/more forgiving top-end performance. It has also achieved new tuning batten system that moves the profile slightly forward and makes the sail more reactive to trim variations.

The 2016 model is made mainly of the monofilm material, which showed much better performance during prototype testing time.

• Internal Kevlar strip applications define shape profiles and maintain stability. Both vertical and horizontal (at cams) orientation
• Racing Blade mast-pocket construction: mast panel and 2-mm. triax mast-pocket sides (3 layers) are tensioned directly (all 3 layers under tack pulley webbings): downhaul tension is equalized between the mast panel and the mast pocket, resulting in the Racing Blade’s firm, clean, easy-rotating leading edge
• Blade mast-pocket construction: Equalized loading between the mast panel (interior) and the pocket (exterior). The result is tensioned, firm mast pockets, exceptional durability, rotation ease
• 4-mm. D/P monofilm body panels: proven superior performance
• Alternate side batten pocket applications with xply pockets (centered battens)
• Teckam2s- simple, functional, light, adjustable, durable. SDM & RDM compatibility
• Metallic cam interfaces: rotation ease, and mast-pocket tension at cams maintained

• New 7-mm. monofilm vertical internal panel (inside mast-pocket) for profile stability
• Redesigned foot geometry (foot cut higher for 2016)
• All Racing Blades are engineered with tubed battens with varying carbon content in specific locations. The top three battens are specialized 100% carbon tubes
