ION Jewel is semidry, warm and stylish wetsuit designed for women. It allow you to enjoy your favourite watersports even in most extreme and cold conditions. It provides comfort and amazing thermal isolation. At the same time it is very flexible and gives you full freedom of movement. It is loaded with features which highly increase its performance, comfort, flexibility and warmth keeping abilities. Collar assumed through head provides tightness and it protects from water getting inside the wetsuit through the back zip. It also features drain holes, seam reinforcement in fragile parts and neoprene pads which protects your ribs, tail bone and hips on case of a crash. Contour Cut increases the comfort and flexibility in neck, wrists and knees are to ensure freedom of movement and easier putting on and off.

Seam Reinforcements

All stress points that come under a lot of force are reinforced with either Melco Tape on the inside seams, or rubber logo patches on the outside of the suit to prevent ripping.

Water gate 3D

With an additional seam to allow a more body-specific fit around the neck, it provides superb water resistant sealing. The Water Gate 3D is used in all Select Level and AMP Level models.

Crash Pads

Additional Neoprene pads provide protection against pressure and impact, which can often cause injury to sensitive and vulnerable parts of the body (shins, ribs, crotch, hips and tail bone.)

Drain Holes

All wetsuits that have the Water Gate Plus batwing panels have small holes in the lower back. This keeps the back area dry by allowing the water which has leaked in through the back zip to drain out. Drain Holes are also placed in the calf area to prevent water from getting stuck in a 'bubble' like fashion. In addition to this, ION front zip wetsuits also have Drain Holes in the chest and back panels.

Key Loop

All ION wetsuits are equipped with a clever key pocket, inside of which is an elasticised attachment. Depending on the model of the suit, this feature can be found on the calf, arm or other area.

Contour Cut

To improve flexibility and comfort, all ION wetsuits come with the ION Contour Cut. It greatly enhances flex in the collar, wrists, elbows, insteps and the back of the knees.
