Head protection for cold sessions
Manera MAGMA Hood Cold Session 2.0 mm is designed for riding in very cold conditions. It effectively reduces heat loss around the head and ears while maintaining good comfort and mobility during long winter sessions.
Double flap system for better sealing
The hood features a double flap construction. One flap sits outside the wetsuit collar, while the other fits inside, creating a double barrier against water flushing. This system also helps keep the hood securely in place.
Zoned materials for protection and mobility
Highly flexible Re-Flex Skin is used around the neck, face and chin to improve comfort and freedom of movement. The head and ear panels are made from Glide Skin neoprene, which is waterproof and windproof to reduce wind chill.
MAGMA PLUS lining for warmth and fast drying
The inside of the hood is lined with MAGMA PLUS, providing exceptional thermal insulation. Its plush fleece structure traps heat efficiently while drying very quickly after sessions.
Larger face opening – FW24 update
From the FW24 collection onward, the hood features a larger face opening. This improves comfort and allows the hood to be worn under the chin without excessive pressure.
3D design for second-skin fit
Designed entirely in 3D, the hood follows the natural shape of the head. This reduces folds and air pockets, improving warmth, sealing and long-term durability.
