Manera X10D Baselayer Hooded is designed as an insulating layer worn under a wetsuit. It adds extra neoprene thickness to improve thermal comfort while maintaining high flexibility and effective sealing.
Integrated 2 mm hood
The 2 mm hooded construction provides a very watertight setup with better stability than a classic hood. It reduces water entry and improves heat retention around the head and neck.
3D design for second-skin fit
The baselayer is fully designed in 3D. A three-dimensional body model is first created and then converted into precise production panels. This process results in a natural second-skin fit with minimal folds and no pressure points.
Triplex X10D construction
Triplex X10D combines three complementary materials: Re-Flex Skin, S-Foam and X10D+. Together, they create a warm, durable and highly flexible top suitable for demanding cold-water sessions.
Comfort, durability and freedom of movement
Proper fit limits water entry and air pockets while ensuring the neoprene stretches only during movement. This improves warmth, durability and comfort in key areas such as shoulders and underarms.
Contact materials and protective layers
The inner X10D jersey offers maximum stretch, low weight and a smooth, silky feel on the skin. Limestone-based S-Foam delivers an effective balance of insulation, flexibility and durability, while the outer Re-Flex Skin enhances UV resistance and overall robustness.
