S-TEC construction
The HydroFoil Slalom line uses the ultra-light S-TEC construction to reduce weight without compromising stiffness.
Weight savings come from:
- no paint
- reduced anti-slip only in the standing area
- thinner and lighter EVA pads
- precise fibre-by-fibre lamination
The result is up to 300 grams less weight, earlier take-off, sharper response and increased control at racing speeds.
HydroFoil Slalom 85
The 85 model features a fully updated outline, refined rocker line and improved deck aerodynamics.
Key updates:
- earlier lift-off at lower take-off speeds
- sharp V under the front section for a cleaner release
- flatter deck around the front foot for more leverage over the foil
- smoother rail shape around the back foot for better control
- double rear strap plug options for power or control-oriented setups
This is the most versatile size in the range, covering the broadest wind range.
Models 80 and 88
The HydroFoil Slalom 80 and 88 remain unchanged for 2026 and provide the same precise tuning for:
- lighter riders (80)
- heavier riders or larger rigs (88)
Together with the new 85, they create a complete foil slalom toolkit for competition riders.
On the water
The board flies high, stable and clean, with instant acceleration and a secure feel at speed. The large tail cut-outs reduce drag and allow early take-off, while the wide tail provides strong leverage over the foil. Aerodynamic deck shaping smooths airflow and keeps the board balanced in flight. Even during aggressive changes of direction, the trim remains steady and predictable.
