GA-Sails Hybrid is a complete rig that is an ideal package for intermediate riders. The package includes GA Sails Hybrid 2024 sail, GA 30% Carbon mast (SDM in 7.2, RDM in smaller ones), GA Sails Alu boom, GA Sails Alu extension and uphaul. You will pack all the items in a convenient bag and thanks to it, you will have everything in one place. The designers have made every effort to ensure that the sail is as versatile and user-friendly as possible. Each size of the Hybrid has slightly different features, allowing you to sail in any possible conditions without sacrificing performance.

The Hybrid rig is available in three construction variants, which differ in shape, number of battens, and range of application. 

The Wave - Size 4.7 acts as a wave sail, providing excellent control, fast planing and maneuverability on windy days with waves. The four-slat construction, all-metal X-Ply window and fiberglass slats provide impressive performance and durability.

Cross - The medium sizes (5.2 - 6.4) feature 5 battens. They are based on the Cross model, which replaces it in the GA Sails offering. They perform excellently in Bump & Jump conditions and wherever good manoeuvrability combined with decent speed performance is needed. A relatively deep and stable profile, determined by a combination of fiberglass battens and tube battens known from more racing-oriented models, provides solid pull. The X-ply window significantly increases the durability of the sail.

Freeride - The largest sizes (6.7 - 7.2) are designed for freeride sailing. They are easy sails with very good speed performance, somewhat reminiscent of the Matrix. The combination of fiberglass battens and tube battens ensures a deep and stable profile, resulting in strong and consistent pull. The camless construction means the sails are not problematic in turns. The lightness is provided by a monofilm window. They possess many features characteristic of racing sails, such as the cut-out of the boom and a cross-batten system that increases profile stability in the upper wind range.
