Jive 12'6

Mistral Jive is a high-performance inflatable windsurfing board which models itself on the old school Malibu boards. It is the longest model out of Mistrals windsurf collection. Because of its size, the board is the most effective in low/medium winds. This model is equipped with adjustable foot straps that facilitate planing and wave riding. Although the board is inflatable it is as stiff and durable as regular hard shell equivalents. The board's rigidity is guaranteed by using the Twin Air Technology which incorporates two narrow air chambers, one on each side of the board. By switching up the chamber layout, Mistral managed to create a much stiffer and safer construction. Additionally, thanks to a special woven-drop stitched material, the board is extremely lightweight. The Jive embraces the old school and makes the best of it by offering a high-performance board with a unique shape.

Mistral Twin Air Technology

In a stagnating think-tank of ideas, Mistral has created a unique product and addressed the issue of rigidity and adaptability all within the one design concept. Two individual left and right chambers running the full length of the board, segmented by a unique narrow centre hollow void, constrained by an outer compression-band.

Uniquely more rigid than any other inflatable, Twin Air Technology® in this format provides harmonies outlines, ideal volume distribution, rocker lines and unique details within the construction.

Lightest Woven Drop Stitch Fabric

Utilisation of the latest, lightest, woven drop stitch fabric, elevates these Mistral boards beyond the ordinary, to be truly, uniquely different. Construction is lighter and stiffer than traditional inflatable boards.
