Duotone's range of Platinum SLS booms includes a Wave version with a tube diameter of 27.5 mm (140-190 and 150-200). The modern Even Curve line has tubes with a smaller opening angle, so that forces are distributed evenly to both hands. This improves control when riding waves and reduces fatigue when performing freestyle tricks. In combination with the Duotone sails, the use of the new VTS TAIL attachment offers for the first time a perfect tension match after the boom.

The boom is equipped with an Inside 100% - Gripped tail with VTS Tail Fitting - a classic nok that allows quick rigging and is ideal for wave, freestyle and freeride sails.

The shorter booms have a 4 cm wider nok that moves the tubes away from the sail, so your hands are at an even angle and the surfing is less tiring. You immediately realize that you are in a more comfortable position, whether you are surfing in a straight line or going wild in a wave. The second advantage is much better control during maneuvers that require turning the sail from the side of the nok.
