The iBASE 2.0 pallet can be attached or removed without tools. It has a central screw with a special nut. Duotone engineers have found a solution to make the iBASE 2.0 the lowest pallet available on the market. This keeps the risk of foot and toe injuries to a minimum. Unlike conventional pallets made from Zytel plastic, the iBASE 2.0 is the only one manufactured from a much stiffer and stronger material called POM, which improves durability.
Absolutely no one in any conditions and for any combination of disciplines needs more than one pallet. The versatility and ease of installation and removal makes the need for multiple pallets and different systems simply obsolete. That is why Duotone proposes iBASE 2.0. The ability to use different systems, different joint hardnesses in one pallet. The interchangeable joints do not add extra weight - something that other pallets on the market cannot achieve!
Virtually everyone has experienced having to unscrew a pallet with frozen or overtired hands in order to get the board to fit into the case. With the iBASE 2.0, you don't have to struggle. It features a quick release system that allows you to release the joint in seconds and leave just the pallet flat. The system, which is resistant to fogging and salt water, allows all types of iBase joints to be attached. Quick replacement in seconds without tools.
An additional advantage is that the joint can be replaced without problems in the event of failure. But before that happens, we wish you fun on the water. You are in for many long, intense sessions before the joint breaks.
