The sail was used several times on the water. There are regular signs of slight usage on monofilm. No major dents, any abrasions or major scratches. Dacron and stitches are in perfect condition.

Where does it come from?

This is a final prototype of 2018 model, based on which production series is manufactured. Sail was used for photoshoot session in Tarifa for 2018 catalogues. It was ridden in front of the lens by Miriam Rasmussen.

More about this sail

In our opinion this is a quite high performance sail for beginners, easy and light (low weight), effortless to uphaul. Possible to use with RDM or SDM mast (min. 40% carbon). Unlike many other sails at this price level, Maverick is equipped with high quality batten lay-out, the same you can find in famous Loftsails sails. It was designed by Monty Spindler, chief Loftsails constructor. These are forward-profile batten systems with Standing Battens and Cross Battens at specific locations – that’s for responsive, low-end drive and easy upper end handling. In order to protect your sail from wearing out (for example from the board's anti-slip surface) two lowest battens, those which have contact with your board, are covered with a rubber protection all the way long, from the leach to the mast sleeve. This is a great feature and you can easily check with other sails brands where this feature is usually missing on the budget sails. The same protection you can find on the bottom edge of Maverick sail.
