Due to the extremely sophisticated manufacturing process, only a very limited number of AERO 3.0 booms are available (on a first-come, first-served basis). Thanks to the highest quality material mix and unique production methods, it is astonishingly lightweight, weighing just 2.85 kg. Despite its slimmed-down design, the PLATINUM AERO 3.0 boasts sensational stiffness, ultra-direct feel and range-specific features and deflection curves that make it a must-have item for high-performance riders. Although the boom is only available in two different lengths, they all have the performance and equipment features of the PLATINUM SLS boom. Be warned, though: high-end technology comes at a price, so don't be surprised.
The boom is equipped with an Outside Tail with Tail Race Fiting. The system with blocks allows the use of infinite adjustment after the boom. The nok is slipped onto the frame tube, providing much greater rigidity in the largest booms.
