The Aqua Marina Atlas 12'0 was designed from the outset as a versatile board for riders of all levels.
The Atlas comes from the Advanced family of boards, which are boards with reinforced construction and advanced technologies that guarantee incredible durability and build quality. Excellent board stiffness has been achieved thanks to Double Stringer Technology , while the use of High Frequency Wealding and Heat Fusion to join the board layers has reduced weight and improved durability.
The board's deck is covered with a layer of non-slip EVA foam with an embossed Diamond Grooving Sand Ripple pattern, which provides excellent grip and prevents slipping. The Advanced series additionally offers a kick pad at the stern to help perform fast turns. The Swift Attach fin system provides instant mounting and dismounting with a single 'click'.
On the bow of the board you will find the RED STRAP™ flat bungee cord system, which you will use to secure your luggage and all the personal items you need for your expedition. Another feature is the 4 D-ring mounts, which allow you to fit an optional high-back kayak seat (to be purchased separately).
Included with the board you receive a 3-piece Aqua Marina Carbon Hybrid Pastel paddle with an adjustment range of 180-220 cm. This hybrid paddle (glass fibre and carbon fibre contruction) is lighter and stiffer than its aluminium counterparts.
