XCEL was founded in 1982 by Ed D’Ascoli. He has grown up surfing New Jersey’s chilly Atlantic coasts. Ed helped establish Victory Wetsuits as an international brand, and then laid the foundations of a core wetsuit company that would revolutionize the industry and push the cutting edge of material and design.

Xcel is known for exceptional product quality and has been voted “Wetsuit of the Year” by its industry peers three times (2007, 2008, 2010). Xcel offer features also a wide range of neoprene boots, gloves, hoods and vests.
