Meet Adam, a windsurfing and iceboarding enthusiast, known as one of Poland's fastest speedsurfers. He recently set a world record for the fastest nautical mile on an iceboard, hitting an average speed of 50.1 knots, which is about 92.79 km/h! It was quite a feat—he had to sharpen his skids 13 times over the weekend due to the uneven surface of Lake Śniardwy. Adam's been hooked on iceboarding for 13 years, but since the gear in Poland didn't meet his standards, he crafts his own iceboards from plywood, carbon cloth, and metal skids.
For his speed records, Adam relies on top-notch sails from Loftsails—the Racingblade and Skyblade, which are super stable and unmatched. Since December 2023, he's covered over 1200 kilometers on ice. His ultimate goal? To hit 60 knots in just 10 seconds! You can keep up with iceboarding results worldwide through this link.
