CrazyFly Tango is kite with 3 strut construction and Open C-shape. Designed for performance freeride and freestyle with wave characteristics. It is very fast, agile and responsive. Generates a lot of power, has big lift and strong pop with decent slack on the lines. Provides direct steering and feel, kiteloops very fast and goes back to zenith quickly. Recommended for intermediate and advanced riders. On the wave it drifts downwind great and delivers power on demand. Also water relaunch is fast and easy. Great for newschool tricks and wakestyle. Tango goes upwind easily and is stable in the air with great handling. For C-shape it’s easy to feel. Big advantage of this kite is its ability to go without nay problem in unstable, gusty wind conditions.

This year’s construction has been reinforced which makes it more durable and also lighter weight. Wing tips of the kite features United Dacron Panels which make it more responsive. Linked Bridles without pulleys give direct connection and better feeling. From CrazyFly’s range it is the best kite for people who look for performance freeride/freestyle and wave kite on high level. It’s very versatile and can be tuned to rider’s preferences thanks to setup options on steering lines. It is not as demanding as typical C-shape kite.

Technologies

BACKLINES TUNING
There are three back line setting on the wingtip of the kite. These allow rider to tune the kite to his own preferences. The fast backline setup provides the quickest turning of the kite and the lightest bar pressure. On medium setting the kite still turns relatively quickly and there is more load on the bar. On the slow setting the kite turns noticeably slower and the bar pressure is high.

BUILT IN PUMP LEASH
The pump leash is one piece with the central strut reinforcement. Instead of sewing the pump leash on the kite separately, which creates a point of weakness on the leading edge, CrazyFly opted for creating the pump leash for the central strut reinforcement.

SINUSOID TRAILING EDGE
This year, we have completely re-designed the trailing edge. Instead of using a straight stripe of extra ripstop, we created a much stronger Sinusoid Trailing Edge made from Marcloth. The sinusoid shape evenly spreads tension and reduces flap. This results in a much stronger and more solid trailing edge.

LINKED BRIDLE
Brand new for 2017 kites, the Linked Bridle does not have any pulleys nor sliders. It created direct link between the rider and the kite, resulting in faster kite reactions and more controlled handling. The Linked Bridle is also much more durable than conventional bridles, as it reduces bridle line movement and abrasion to minimum.

ONE PUMP SYSTEM
The one pump system allow for quicker and easier inflation and deflation of the kite and ensures even pressure distribution throughout the kite. The valves are made from highest quality material available and are manufactured in Europe. Brand new this year the hose clips are covered with Arptex which unlike neoprene does not intake water which reduces weight.

TURBO INFLATE/DEFLATE
All CF kites are equipped with turbo inflate/deflate system which inflates and deflates the kite through the same valve. This year’s Turbo valve is covered with Arptex, which does not take water and doesn’t add weight to the ktie. Allows you to pump and deflate the kite very fast.
