CrazyFly Sickbar 2017 combines safety, durability, comfort and simplicity. Safety on the water is priority, because of that Sickbar has push away safety system based on one of the front lines. It provides flagging out the kite after using it with 100% power drop, works in every situation. Reassembling the system is very easy and takes only few seconds. It gives you great kite feel, direct and responsive steering. At the same time thank to one-piece carbon tube the bar is extremely lightweight and durable. You can connect yourself in standard or suicide mode (only for experts). Depower system is based on one line with cleat stopper which makes it very simple, effective and easy to reach in every situation. Depower line is covered with PU tube which protects it from abrasions and increased durability.

Safety system conforms French safety norm AFNOR NF S52-503 and can be triggered with low force. Bar features ergonomic grip which is solid and durable. Also comes with swivel which allows you to untangle your frontlines after kiteloops or rotational jumps even during riding. Sickbar features pre-stretched under heavy load German Dyneema lines ensuring no further elongations of the lines. Comes with 24 meters long lines which can be extended by 3 or 6 meters for bigger kites.

Technologies

SWIVEL
The swivel is integrated under the bar, where it is easy and comfortable to reach for untwisting the front lines after a rotational trick or a kite loop. The front lines can be easily untwisted on the go.

SMART CLEAT
A brand new depower Smart Cleat, originally designed by CrazyFly, and strategically positioned above the bar. It is comfortable to reach and very easy to use, even on the go. This year, we also added a Velcro on the Smart Cleat, so there are no lines flapping around and everything is tidy in place.

POWER TUBE
Covering the central line in a PU (very strong plastic) tube provides superior control of on the bar depower and adds to a more direct kite feel. The whole system, as well as the kite power delivery, feel much smoother.

FULL CARBON
Bar is made from high modulus aerospace carbon fibres which are extremely strong, durable and ultra light. This bar is produced with latest high tech moulding processes. Made out of one piece carbon tube.

PUSH AWAY SAFETY SYSTEM
Is easily and quickly triggered. The safety system ensures 100% collapse of the kite. Safety system is based on one of the front lines.

NEW BAR ENDS AND FLOATERS
With safety being the top priority, the bar ends are soft, flexible and with integrated floaters. The soft nature of the bar ends prevents hand injuries when catching the bar during unhooked tricks. Soft bar ends and also lower the risk of injury when the bar comes in contact with the rider during a crash. Riders will also appreciate the soft bar ends when relaunching the kite.
