North Kiteboarding began in early 2001 and grew at a frenetic rate. Kiteboarding was then so new that companies were competing against each other for market recognition but also for public acceptance of the new watersport. In 2008 NKB moved its production center from China to Sri Lanka. Now stands as an industry leader in kiteboarding known for their high-performance gear: kites, boards, bars, bags and accessories. Kite models such as Rebel, Evo, Dice or Neo are well known North names.
