About this gear

Reaching pure performance without any cambers – the Matrix combines a locked-in racing feeling with ease of use. The race-oriented outline with a small sail head was updated with slightly increased luff curve, which adds tension to the sail to boost the performance even more. Small modifications in the shaping of the seams in the middle of the sail helped to refine the profile, leading to a light feeling even when you’re overpowered. The relatively wide sail foot and the cross batten further enhance the power and performance of the Gaastra Matrix, while it never loses its user-friendly and controllable character.

Where this gear come from?

This sail comes from a pool of EASY-surfshop test gear. It was exhibited and ridden at our events and tested by the team. The equipment was rinsed after each session in the fresh water and stored in our warehouse not exposed to UV radiation and other external factors.

Advantages

• Sail has never been damaged
• It was on the water only few times during our team's tests
• Sail had no contact with salt water

Disadvantages

• Minor folds and scratches on the monofilm and X-ply from normal use
• Monofilm and edge tape on the top are slightly folded
